Terms of Service
Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Prism browser extension, the website, and related subscription services (together, "Prism"). By installing or using Prism you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Prism.
The Service
Prism filters supported social media feeds locally in your browser using keyword-based scoring and your chosen settings. Free access covers YouTube. Prism Pro unlocks additional platforms and features described on the pricing page.
Accounts & Pro
- Pro is sold as a subscription billed through Stripe.
- After checkout you receive a signed license token. The extension verifies that token before enabling Pro features.
- You must not share, sell, or redistribute license tokens.
- We may revoke access for fraud, chargebacks, or abuse.
Billing & Cancellation
Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can manage or cancel billing through the Stripe customer portal linked from Prism Pro settings. Fees already charged are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion for clear billing errors.
Acceptable Use
You may use Prism only for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You may not reverse engineer the extension to bypass licensing, attack our APIs, scrape or overload Stripe or Prism endpoints, or use Prism to violate platform terms of the sites you visit.
Third-Party Sites
Prism runs on third-party social platforms we do not control. Those sites may change layout or block extensions at any time. Prism is not affiliated with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, or their owners.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Prism is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that filtering will be complete, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prism and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to Prism will not exceed the amounts you paid us for Pro in the twelve months before the claim.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process. Feed filtering runs locally; Pro licensing contacts our servers only as described there.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above shows the current revision. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material subscription price changes will apply to future billing periods.
